I love London, but at the same time, some things about it really irk me. Exhibit A: Taxi from Gatwick Airport to the hotel: 95 british pounds which is equivalent to almost 200 dollars. IE: fucking ouch! It's partly my fault though. I'm a sucker for convenience and not having to lug your bags around any metro system is to me a big plus, but the times are hard and I should have sacrificed comfort for being more thrifty. Oh well. One learns I guess. My weekend ( a very very short weekend at that ) was what I would classify as a life direction changing event. I'm not really going to go into details and I'm a better photographer than I am at expressing myself verbally, so I will say it with some photos from said weekend... Forgive me for being so cryptic. I know hardly anyone reads this blog but I'm a paranoid android all the same and private to boot...
I also had the opportunity (thanks to my friend Miguel who made the introduction) to hang out with Chelsea. Chelsea is fun, into fashion and shopping and is smart as a whip. I get along with her and of course we hit it off right away. Truth is she had me at Fred Segal! Instant friends... Here she is in all her porcelain skin (much envied by me) goodness...
I took this photo of her on the tube. We took advantage of the wind machine effect! :P
Coming soon: Barcelona: Sónar Festival & how I managed not to get into Bread & Butter and miss all the parties.
